The story

Orthogonals Round brings the collection's architectural language to the centre of the room: a slender circular top of veined marble rests on a base of clustered cylinders, each turned from solid stone and joined without visible detail. Seen from any side, the fluted volume reads as a single sculpted column holding the disc in balance.

Form and proportion

Proportion is integral to the design of Orthogonals. In the listed format — Ø 140–180 × H 74 cm — the design considers the relationship between the sculptural base, the top and the footprint the table establishes within a room. The calacatta oro marble and polished finish are not additions to the form: they make its volumes, surfaces and the natural movement of the stone legible.

For a bespoke version, diameter and height, stone selection, base proportion and polished or honed finish can be considered together. The conversation begins with the space and desired proportion, then develops through dialogue, drawing and proportion studies in close exchange with the workshop.
