The story
A soft pebble base meets a generous circular form. Sasso Bowl is conceived as a low sculpture that happens to be useful — its silhouette changes with every step you take around it.
Form and proportion
Proportion is integral to the design of Sasso Bowl. In the listed format — Ø 40 × H 12 cm — the design considers the object’s scale, its carved volume and the relationship between the stone and the surface on which it is placed. The breccia or carrara marble and honed finish are not additions to the form: they make its volumes, surfaces and the natural movement of the stone legible.
For a bespoke version, diameter, stone selection, top thickness and base geometry can be considered together. The conversation begins with the space and desired proportion, then develops through dialogue, drawing and proportion studies in close exchange with the workshop. Each choice is treated as part of one composition, allowing the piece to respond to its setting without losing the gesture that defines Sasso Bowl.
