The story

Equilibrio is a study in balance: a slender round top of veined marble rests on a base of two stacked spheres, one large, one small, turned from solid stone. The whole piece stands on a single point of gravity — a table that reads as a small architectural sculpture in the middle of the room.

Form and proportion

Proportion is integral to the design of Equilibrio. In the listed format — Ø 130–180 × H 74 cm — the design considers the relationship between the sculptural base, the top and the footprint the table establishes within a room. The marble with grey veining and polished finish are not additions to the form: they make its volumes, surfaces and the natural movement of the stone legible.
